ANALYZING THE CRISIS

Case Study 2: Conclusion

Based on the valued interview with the SAAB91 creator, and based on the statistics obtained from the survey, it is evident that ending energy poverty by way of increasing the share of cheaper renewable energy, will have a significant favourable impact on a series of connecting issues of our modern day world.

As Mr. Sanchez pointed out, the resulting cheaper electricity from renewable energy sources aimed at lowering energy poverty could also indirectly and drastically reduce the operating costs of electric vehicles in areas not necessarily suffering from energy poverty, and can boost the shift from vehicles that burn fossil-fuels to cleaner electric vehicles.

Based on the sources provided in this website, it is unmistakeable that most current vehicles consumes a large percentage of the limited fossil-fuels resource of the world, and hence also is a major contributor in global pollution and carbon dioxide levels.

The favourable shift from expensive and polluting fossil-fuel based vehicles to cleaner electric vehicles then proves that the global average transportation costs could be reduced drastically while also pulling down global pollution and carbon dioxide levels along with it. This chain further extends showing that reducing greenhouse gases (like carbon dioxide) can also slow down or stop global warming, which currently causes adverse effects in global ecological life, food production, water availability, and various other issues.
