WHAT WE CAN DO
An organization has more potential to go green than being a single individual. Companies and organizations have more financial strength to make the switch from entirely power grid dependent, to being self-sustaining using renewable energy sources.
Apart from installing net-metered renewable energy solutions at the premises, or shifting to greener vehicles, organizations could also partner with the state or regional power utility company to initiate renewable energy projects or projects to supply energy to regions lacking them. This is one of the more effective ways energy poverty could be put to end faster.
In addition, organizations could also reduce its net intake of energy by switching to more efficient electronics or machinery, or utilizing on-site water treatment facilities, which could indirectly save energy usage of the state or regional water companies.
